50 Years of Independence for R.C.I.
August 7, 2010 marked the 50th anniversary of independence for Côte d'Ivoire, formerly a French colony. The uneasy political situation continues (delayed elections, little movement towards real re-unification of north and south), but the festivities in Ferke were peaceful.
