Interns in Ferkessedougou have been using their mother-tongue skills to build friendships and to help young people in the community to learn English. English is required for success on the BAC (the exam which determines whether a student receives a high school diploma) and also for the BEPC (for "graduation" from junior high). Most local teachers only have passable English themselves. And this is a great way for interns to find out whether teaching is a good fit, and to develop deeper relationships.
We see people of all nations transformed by Jesus Christ through partnership with his church.
