Having a gluten allergy in Bolivia has been more difficult then I originally thought it would be but necessity being the mother of invention I have had my share of odd experiments and fun experiences trying to replace wheat flour with stuff I can eat. Church on Sun. was my first real moment in Bolivia of oh no what am I going to do and the funniest part is that it had nothing to do with culture or language difference it all came down to my oh so fun gluten allergy.
