a ministry of WorldVenture
Our passion: to be servants of the Word, reaching the Nyarafolo people group in northern Côte d'Ivoire with the Good News, and reaching out to the poor through compassion ministries
Our ministry roles:
Glenn: medical technologist/lab director at the Baptist Mission Hospital; Nyarafolo church planter and leadership mentor; field treasurer; Nyarafolo Translation Project business manager
Linn: linguist, Hebrew exegete, director of the Nyarafolo Translation Project
Together: member care (Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills Workshop facilitators, for French and English sessions; peer responders); compassion ministries ("The Widow's Jar" widows' co-op, sponsoring various young people in school and business, showing mercy to those who come to us); encouraging the Nyarafolo Christian Community.

I'm back in Ferkessedougou, in the middle of a six-week separation from Glenn. We hadn't planned this, in fact, it was just the day before we were slated to fly out of Detroit after our home assignment that the doctor told Glenn he really needed at least five weeks of physical therapy for his painful knee. We decided that I should return without him, since many time-oriented events and task were piling up. We had peace about it, but it's never easy to be apart this long. And the…

I am a mirror.
It boils down to this:
all the significance
I’ve longed for
is held within the simple truth

It’s a quick walk on a fine…

We spend days, weeks, months, going over translated texts -- copyediting, reviewing, revising, proofreading -- to get to goal. It's easy to get lost in the details. A friend brought up the truth that some people are antlike,…

Dear Linnea, just so happy you want to be in touch.
Thank you for sending the E letters.
My life is blessed beyond measure, and especially having World Venture and others to pray for and cherish. John 15.1 - 17 was my thought today. Especially v. 7 Three kinds of fruit - fruit more fruit much fruit. I remember that every difficulty is an opportunity for God to work.
