Home assignment = doctors
I thought when we moved from Colorado at Christmas time to Alabama, our medical procedures were behind us. Not so. Timothy finished decompression treatment for his back last week. Gabriel had all 4 wisdom teeth removed just a week ago. Tonight, if the expected tornadoes don't interfere, Timothy will have his sleep apnea test. Didn't mention dentist in there, did I? Let's just say, I have another visit to schedule after the healing is completed, and that won't be everything…

Gary Sinclair represents ICFM at the VCEX meetings in Moscow
Gary has traveled to Moscow this week to represent our ministry to over 700 pastors at the Russian Fellowship of Evangelical Christians annual meeting. He is sharing about our vision and the upcoming worship conference later this fall. We are also giving them music resources for 3 of the songs on our website. The response has been tremendous.
Please pray that Gary would be able to sleep well. Jet-lag has been an issue this trip.

Shiogama: Tsunami Ground Zero
By Kevin Laverman - WorldVenture Missionary in Japan - Shiogama, Japan (Near Sendai)
I still haven't returned from tsunami ground zero. That is to say, although I've been back several days already, the reality of the scene is still with me. The incredible amounts of mud in once beautiful homes, the cars tossed around like toys, the shell-shocked people moving about sadly, the piles and piles of everything imaginable from the lives of so many now gone, the…

One Month Later...
By Janet Brown - Missionary in Japan Coordinating Short-Term Teams - Tokyo, Japan
One month in Review
April 11 was exactly one month after the 9.1 earthquake followed by a massive tsunami, in northern Japan. The tsunami damaged the Nuclear Power Plant in Fukushima. Since then there have been over 1500 aftershocks, but no more tsunamis. The Nuclear Power Plant is still struggling to cool the reactors. Tokyo has gone through a gas and…

Radiation, Revival, Renewal
By Ken Taylor - WorldVenture Missionary in Japan — Toyko, Japan
It has been 3 weeks since the triple tragedy in Japan. From a human level, one cannot escape the feeling of despair and helplessness. But from a spiritual perspective, we are all the more dependent on God and sense His presence moment by moment.
Following are deep impressions the Lord Jesus Christ has given us:

My Hardest run !
The annual Mahajanga hot run half Marathon (13.1 miles or 21.98 Km) took place on Saturday, April 2nd. I had trained for it by running on the beach barefoot - what a joy. I had also had a few practice shorter runs at 3 PM in the afternoon to hopefully get use to the heat (85-90 degrees Fahrenheit). Tuesday, before the race I had to make a 1,350 kilometer drive into the country on secondary roads and arrived back in Mahajanga Thursday…

Last Day in Shiogama

It has now been a full three weeks since the earthquake and the disaster has now claimed more than 28,000 deaths and missing persons. And it is the final day of our relief mission to Shiogama. Yesterday our team was joined in the work by a deaf pastor from Yamagata and a member of his congregation. They stayed over with us in the cabin and…
