"M was a typical village Kazakh, born in an obscure corner of the Soviet Union to a family who was resistant to the Gospel. By the time he was 25, M's life had included a stint in the army, failed relationships, an unplanned baby, alcoholism and drug addiction.

And then Christ found him... using a missionary English teacher. M was one of our trainees on the course that just finished. This 40-something, barrel-chested guy got all choked up when telling us how Jesus had turned his life around. The missionary gave him a Bible and he started searching for truth, and then God spoke to him about Christ in a dream. M has a new heart and a new life. He's passionate about the Gospel, and uses English teaching to serve and reach others with the Good News."

"A woman who heard one of Lalia's recent talks told how God used the Old Testament to draw her to faith in Jesus. She started reading the Hebrew Bible simply because she wanted to know more about her husband's Jewish heritage. Soon, she was discovering things she never knew were in the Bible. Wanting more, she found an evangelical church which taught the Word (her husband came along for the music). That was the church that had invited Lalia to speak. After hearing the message, the woman decided to commit her life to Jesus."
