Both Mercy and Grace were street children. They were abandoned and found by one of our missionaries. He took the boys in, but had a difficult time taking care of them. The missionary heard about Children of Promise and got in touch with the local coordinator of the children's home in Myanmar.
The transition was difficult as there was a language barrier, but soon the boys were adapting to life at the home. They learned about Jesus and made a profession of faith. Today, they are happy and are looking to the future. Grace is interested in learning trade skills while Mercy may enroll in missionary training. Also, the children at the orphan home in Kenya just had a gospel summer camp. There were 170 people that came and 18 received baptism. Praise God!
