There is some good news about the children at risk ministry. As a craft project the children have been knitting caps and scarfs. We have been having cold weather in Tucuman and the kids wear those items to school. We got to thinking they must be the envy of their classmates with their colorful scarfs and knit caps! The children are very poor and it is blessing that they are able to knit things that are so useful. Also, it is election time in Argentina. A candidate who was campaigning saw Marlene and her helpers walking with the children to the church. He asked what they were doing and was very impressed that they have no backing from the government. So the man had light weight portable desktops, which are common in Northern Argentina, made and donated them so the kids can work on their school work more comfortably. Needless to say the boys and girls were thrilled!

This Thursday August 25 the group arrived from Shepherd of the Hills in Porter Ranch, CA. Pray that the Lord will give them journeying mercies and for their ministry in Argentina. Blessing on you, Steve and Marlene Estes
