We are finally getting a needed vacation break. Our son, Nate, and our daughter, Erin, are here for a visit.

Erin came with her husband Aaron and Nate came with a ring for his new financèe, Aksana. Nate proposed

to Aksana the second night they were here in Italy. They will be married in May. The happy couple met at the bank they both worked at in Philadelphia. Aksana is the director of the bank. So, please pray that Nate and Aksana's relationship may mature.

Erin will deliver her twins in November and Marcia will return to the States in October. Tim will arrive in the beginning of November after his classes are finished in Rome. Please pray for mom and the babies (and for the new grandparents).

Tim continues to pass the baton to the Italian pastors. The pastors are taking on the leadership responsibilities with less reluctance. Tim is attempting to spend more time in developing the leadership program for the churches in Italy. The Facoltà Teologica will offer the following courses this fall:

1. Methods of Teaching (August)

2. Logic

3. Integrative Theology

4. NT Greek

5. Old Testament survey

6. Christian Character

Tim is preparing lessons to teach apologetics in the spring and Luigi will teach about intelligent design.

Dr. Luigi Esposito's mother died of Lou Gehrig's disease. She fought an eleven year battle before her stroke last year from which she never recovered. Among other problems like crime and garbage, Luigi is having problems burying his mother. It is stressful enough losing a loved one, but the Italian system adds to the stress by creating problems with cemeteries and burial procedures. Pray that the Esposito family may have resolution to this problem within the next day or two.
