We can report about the ministry of the short-term group that came from Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch, CA August 26-September 8. Even though they didn’t arrive in our area until August 27 because one of their flights arrived late, the Lord really blessed and did great things through the group. They visited well over a hundred homes and many were saved. The attendance at one church in Tucuman has nearly doubled as a result of new people attending that the folks from Shepherd won to the Lord! The group also led a seminar about how to disciple and integrate into the church new converts. They had a lot of credibility with the nationals because their church has done that so effectively. The seminar was also very effective and the local folks commented on how much they appreciated what was shared.

It must be added that the nationals greatly contributed to the success of this short-term group. They really organized, worked, and sacrificed to be make the group’s ministry successful. Frankly, much less would have been accomplished without all their hard work! Also, the Argentines were very generous and gracious hosts to these visitors from the United States. Members of the group commented about how loving the nationals were to them.

Thank-you so much for praying. We continue to rejoice because of how God blessed.
